Methodological Rules for the Authors
To send a paper or a book review, please follow the following "desiderata".
Thanks for your kind collaboration!
• All the studies should not contain more than 50 sheets (A4 format)
for the studies; the book-reviews should not contain more than 10 sheets.
To computate: 2000 caracters per page/sheet with simple interline.
The Redaction reserves the right to decide to divide long papers in two section, which will be published in two times.
• Notes must be foot-notes and to numbered with a continuous manner;
about foot-notes and bibliography, please follow the following "desiderata"
for the Authors:
Author:
before the Surname and then the Name (Saporetti Claudio or Saporetti C.)
E.g.: Saporetti C.,

Monographies:
Title of the work in italic, the series between caporal commas«
», City, Year, pages.
E.g.: Prader J., Il matrimonio in Oriente e Occidente, «Kanonika»

Works in more volumes:
Author/Authorsi, Title in italic, volume, edition, city, year, pages,
notes.

Papers published inside Reviews:
Author, Title of the paper in italic, followed by "in" then
name of the Review in italic between commas [« »] or not,

Author, title of the paper in italic, followed by "in" with the name of the Director or of the Editor of the volume [followd by "ed." if editor], title of the work in italic, city, year, pages.

Studies inside Encyclopedias, Dictionaries
etc.:
Author, then the sigla s.v. [sub voce], title of the paper in italic, followed by "in", then title of the Encyclopaedia or Lexicon between "caporal" commas [« »], volume, edition, city and year between round brackes ( ), columns or pages.
E.g..: Habbi J., s.v.
Bagdad, in Dizionario Enciclopedico dell'Oriente Cristiano,

Frequent quotations:
If a work is quoted frequently (more than 3 times), please make an abbreviation as follows. Make an abbreviation with the Surname of the Author and then the title or the beginning of it, then type a squared bracked with the sign of equal and there write the complete work [=].
E.g..: Bucci, L'impero persiano, = Bucci O., L'impero persiano come ordinamento giuridico sovrannazionale, Roma 1984, 67.

Standard Abbreviations of the Patrologia:
PG = Patrologia Graeca; PL
= Patrologia Latina; PO = Patrologia Orientalis.
Photos and Pics :
The papers can be have photos or pics.
All the pics should be numbered and to have a short description (i.e. a didascalia).
Iura Orientalia has not got the responsability of the pics, so the Author can have and ask the authorization to the owners.
